Prints are up!…having spent about 3 hours taking apart the wall so I could get power to the projector I’m using!
So as you can see I have got two images framed, as one of the earlier prints I was making didn’t work out I’ve decided to use a print I made a couple of months before…seems to work alot better.
Final Litho print kind of finished? Wasn’t that successful to be honest.
It was only a three colour print CYAN, MAGENTA and a small amount of yellow, plates kept fucking up and couldn’t get a perfect print. As it was only 2/3 colours any mistakes showed up very visibly in the finished print. Had to remake two of the plates as they didn’t expose properly and even then the plate wasn’t that good for printing…
I don’t think its good enough to use for the final show, so will have to rethink slightly what I am showing as this was going to be one of my main pieces, possibly placed next to the projection I’m going to be showing, and don’t have time to print something completely new
I though I’d test out what I plan to show digitally first, and see how it looks (These measure 50x50cm)
The plan is now to frame then. Not what I initially wanted to do but I’ll be having a projection next to them so this should work quite well. I printed these at work for free 😀
One Litho print finished, not sure I’m overly happy with it…half the trees came out too blue so I only have a few good versions. Hopefully once framed or mounted it will be ok??
4 weeks to print two CMYK Litho prints? It took me 2 months to print the last one!…but was being lazy so should be possible? (One image is only CMY-no black)
*£102 for 7 Acetates – 50x50cm…waah
